The Beta-Glucanase (BGS) is produced by submerged fermentation of Trichoderma reesei followed by purification and formulation. The product contains high activity of β-Glucanase that efficiently catalyzes the depolymerization of β-Glucan in plant materials.
β-Glucan presents big challenges in many cases in that
it causes high viscosity leading to difficult filtration and inefficient
digestion and absorption of feed. The β-Glucanase in
the product is capable of degrading the β-Glucans to
produce low molecular non-viscous oligomers, which helps get rid of the
problem.
